How online check-in works

Join from your phone
Tap Join the walk-in, then provide your name, health card number and the reason for your visit. It takes about a minute.
Arrive and check in
Come to reception with your health card. If you miss your slot we hold your place for fifteen minutes, then move you back one turn.

What to bring with you
Provincial health card
Ontario or another province.
Your medications
A list of everything you take, including doses and anything over the counter.
Test results and letters
Any recent test results, specialist letters, or imaging reports relevant to today's visit.
Payment method
If your visit includes an uninsured service, with the cost confirmed before you see the doctor.
Without a health card the visit is billed at the uninsured rate.

Walking in is right for most things that start suddenly and are not dangerous. For everything else, here is the honest answer.

Ongoing conditions, medication reviews, results, referrals, mental health, anything that needs history and time.

Minor ailments a pharmacist can prescribe for in Ontario, and questions about a medication you already take.

Overnight advice from a registered nurse when the clinic is closed and it is not an emergency. Free, 24 hours.
If you are not sure, call reception. They will tell you honestly, including when the emergency department is the better choice.
