Becoming a patient here
The family practice is open to new patients across Guelph and the surrounding townships. Enrolment is one form and one first appointment.

Appointment lengths
How much time each visit gets.
Booking the right length matters more than booking early. If you are not sure, pick the longer one and tell reception why.
15 minutes
One issue, or a follow-up on something we have already discussed. The standard slot.
30 minutes
A first appointment as a new patient, an annual review, or two or more concerns in one visit.
45 to 90 minutes
Iron infusions, including the monitoring period afterwards, and cardiology stress testing.
Varies
Minor procedures and aesthetics treatments are scheduled from the written plan made at your consult.
After you book
What happens between now and the appointment

You get a confirmation
Email or text within a minute, with the date, the length of the slot and anything you need to bring or avoid beforehand.

A reminder the day before
One message, with a link to reschedule in a tap. Reply to cancel and the slot goes back to the next patient waiting.

Notes and results land in the portal
Usually within a few days of the visit. If a result needs discussing, we call you rather than wait for you to log in.
