About the clinic

A neighbourhood practice that keeps care under one roof.

East Guelph Medical Clinic opened on Eastview Road to do two things at once: hold a full family practice roster, and keep adding the services that would otherwise send patients out of the city.

The clinic's bright waiting area, lined with backlit nature panels

Why the walls look like that

Forest canopies, wildflowers and meadows, lit from behind.

The treatment rooms and waiting areas are lined with large backlit nature panels. They are not decoration. A medical space that feels calm changes how a nervous patient sits, breathes and answers questions, and it is the one thing every visitor mentions.

The panels are a collaboration with Focus on Nature, a Guelph-founded charity that takes young people outdoors with cameras. Every image is a real place, photographed by someone who stood in it, not a stock landscape.

Focus on Nature ↗

Everything else in the building follows from the same idea. Room to wait without crowding, daylight wherever we can get it, and a front desk you can actually talk to.

What we are trying to do

Three commitments, in plain words.

All in one care

If a service can be run safely here, we run it here. Every referral we absorb is a drive, a wait and a repeated story you do not have to go through.

Compassionate care

A calm room, an appointment long enough to finish the sentence, and staff who explain the cost before it becomes a surprise.

Published and honest

Hours, fees and what OHIP will not cover are all on this site. If we cannot help with something, we say so and point you somewhere that can.

Working here

We are always interested in good clinicians and good front desk staff.

If you want to practise somewhere that keeps adding services rather than referring them away, write to us. Tell us what you would want to run.
